Precise Flight is an innovative and reliable solutions-provider for the aviation industry. Precise Flight works with customers to design and manufacture high-quality, reliable, innovative, and cost effective systems and products. From the fixed oxygen system in the Cirrus SR-22 and the HID landing light system in the Gulfstream G-650, to the Pulselite System in Learjets and Airbus Helicopters, Precise Flight works closely with our customers to make flying safer and the business of flying more profitable.

Our Team of 30 employees staff six primary departments: engineering & design, quality control, sales & marketing, production, customer service, supply chain management, and administration. Precise Flight is headquartered in a 10,000 square-foot design and production facility adjacent to the runway at the Bend Airport.

Precise Flight is an ISO 9001:2008 certified aviation parts manufacturer through National Quality Assurance (NQA) and is a member of the National Business Aviation Association and Helicopter Association International.

Precise Flight's key product lines include:

SpeedBrakes

SpeedBrakes™ for the Cessna 210. The new product employed vacuum technology for deployment of drag brakes, which gave pilots greater control during rapid descents. Aircraft owners and aviation experts perked up their ears. In intervening years, Precise Flight, Inc. has introduced SpeedBrakes™ for many other general aviation aircraft and has received OEM contracts from Mooney, Columbia Aircraft Mfg Co. and the New Piper Aircraft Company.

The company expanded upon its vacuum technology, first used to provide sufficient vacuum to operate it's SpeedBrakes, to launch a second product line: The SVS, Standby Vacuum System, for general aviation aircraft. The SVS offered low cost backup protection for the vacuum-powered instruments pilots depend on. Precise Flight sold over 20,000 units worldwide, before selling the product line to The Vacuum Source, LLC, www.thevacsource.com, in June of 05. The Vacuum Source will be focusing exclusively on the SVS-V and other vacuum system related products.

Pulselite®

Pulselite® system, was launched in 1984. Pilots and experts again took notice. The Pulselite system provides increased aircraft recognition through the use of flashing existing aircraft external lights. This product is available for aircraft and rotorcraft from Robinson R22 to Boeing 747's, and is proving its value on over 20,000 aircraft worldwide.

Precise Aircraft Oxygen

Precise Oxygen - In June of 1998, Precise Flight, Inc. purchased Nelson Oxygen Equipment, giving the Company the ability to supply portable oxygen to pilots. The oxygen product has proven to be a good match, and a beneficial addition to the product line.

PreciseLite HID

PreciseLite HID - In 2005, Precise Flight debuted the PreciseLite - High Intensity Discharge (HID) Aviation Lighting.

The Precise Flight Story

Our story is simple: We're all about safety. We pride ourselves on the unrivaled ability to manufacture lighting, oxygen and electromechanical technologies that improve upon the safety and experience of our markets. And because we consistently provide our customers the same quality they have come to know and expect from our products, we've been doing just that for over 36 years.

Precise Flight, Inc., headquartered in Bend, Oregon, was founded in 1980 by two aviation consultants concerned about the increasing speed of general aviation aircraft when coupled with the inability to slow the aircraft down without shock-cooling the engines. In 1982, Precise Flight, Inc. launched its first product, Speedbrakes. Since that time, Speedbrakes have been sold far and wide and have become the gold standard in general aviation spoiler systems. 

Also since that time, Precise Flight has grown from a small company with three employees and one product, to a global leader in aviation saftey and performace with 28 employees and 10 product lines. Precise Flight is proud to be a woman owned small business serving the global aviation community.

Our extensive range of products is equipped on aircraft, airlines and defense around the world. Our focus on customer service and quality is relentless, which we're certain contributes, at least in part, to the company's transformation from a small Bend, Oregon-based aircraft safety and performance company into a leading global competitor of integrated performance systems.
